You have served me well and I love you. I know you want to protect me with your repetition and I know the topics deserve your attention. But I want to be in love. I am choosing love. You will always be there for me when I really need you. You have a place to live in me always, but it’s time for you to retire. Occasionally I will need you and you will know when I really need help. But it has to be a real emergency for you to come out of retirement. No more training on superfluous matters. I don’t need you for my annoying customers. And I only need you for my finances if I am about to make a really bad decision. I no longer need you to be hyper vigilant. I want you to do what I am doing; meditate, bide your time, act only when really needed and then return to your slumber. Allow love to rule me. I can still take care of myself with love in charge. And if love becomes too naïve you can intervene, but again. ONLY in emergencies.
I have a new life to live now and I need love to get me there. You will enjoy it too. Come with me on this new life, but as a passenger. You are important. I will always listen to you. But it is time for you to chill and hand over the reins to love. You are no longer the drivers, you are now the OCCASIONAL consultants. You are on the board of directors, but you are no longer running the company. Love is the CEO now. Please accept your retirement with grace and enjoy it.
